You will have experienced real Alaska when you take off in a float plane from a lake and land on water with your guide. It’s one of many thrills to experience in the last frontier.
Outfitters offer fully guided trips for everyone from the sightseer to the extreme fisherman. Experience the beautiful Alaska Range with its majestic views of glaciers and bodies of water so blue and spectacular as you fly above the Alaska wilderness. Bald eagles, moose, caribou and a mixture of birds will have you in awe as they live among these lands. If it’s bears you want to see, we have that too. Up close and personal. Your camera–whether it be still, digital or video–will be busy taking pictures of these photogenic bears as they are seen in their natural habitat feeding from the river for fish or lounging on a boulder taking a nap.
The action is nonstop when fishing for sockeye and silver salmon along the riverbanks on the west side of Cook Inlet. The excitement intensifies when bears are wading the same waters you’re fishing. Don’t worry though, as guides leading the trips are experienced in sharing their fishing grounds with us humans.
